I love you guys, you make me laugh.  :D  I also have not been very motivated lately, but I'm hoping to lose a few more pounds before Mom and Ralph come next month.  We'll see since I'll probably need to actually 1) exercise and 2) avoid Easter candy to do so.  And I just don't see 2 happening unless the Easter bunny only brings chocolate.

Million Pound Matchup

Million Pound Matchup: Now or Never
We are are Autumn & Ally. We're 23 and we live in Florida. We're classmates who both need to lose weight so that we can enjoy our twenties, thirties and the rest of our lives. So, it's official. We're joining The Biggest Loser's Million Pound Matchup. We start officially tomorrow morning at 9:30 am. We'll be meeting at the gym. We need to do this for our health and for our happiness. This is more important now than it ever has been. No more excuses, no more putting if off for one more day. Now.

Our Relationship
We are classmates. We are both 2nd year students in law school.

Our Photos
Please check out our many photo albums to see where we started & how we are doing!

Autumn's Weight Loss Goals
I am starting at 202.46lbs. Boy is that big! My goal is to get back in shape, learn how to eat right so that I can be healthy, stop drinking soda & eating late at night, start eating breakfast, and lose 77 lbs (38% of my body weight!) before 2009! I want to weigh about 125. That was my 10 pounds more than weight when I graduated high school in 2002.

Allyson's Weight Loss Goals
My starting weight is 225 .4pounds! I can’t believe it. This is by far the heaviest I have ever been. My goal is to get to 125 pounds (and lose 44.5% of my body weight!). – a nice even one hundred pound goal. I’ve always been overweight so now is the time for me to learn a healthy lifestyle. I need to learn to eat right and to limit the amount of sweets I eat. Furthermore, I need to stop making excuses and start working out more often. My goal is a large one, but I believe through hard work and the support of friends and family, I can pull it off.

Our Combined Weight Loss Goals
Our combined weight loss goal a whopping 177 lbs and 42% of our total body weight! It’s daunting, but together we will be strong and support each other through our rebirth of a new and healthy lifestyle!

Why We Entered/ Our Plan/ Why We Will Win

Our Reasons for Entering/ How We Plan to Succeed/ Why We Should Win

We are entering because we realistically know that we need the extra motivation. The chance to win a prize touches our competitive natures. We need this extra drive in order to make it, and we know that. We also both love The Biggest Loser and really draw inspiration from the show and the compelling stories of the people whose lives are changed by it. We want to be those people – an inspiration to others that it really can be done by hard work, diet and exercise.

We plan to succeed by really supporting each other in this endeavor. We will work together through temptation and be each other’s motivation to go to the gym. Ally will use The South Beach Diet, Autumn will use the Nutrisystem Diet, and we will both work out together. We will aim to do cardio and some weights at the gym at least 4 times a week! That will be a big change from our whopping 0 times a week now!

We should win because we are both VERY busy young women with crazy schedules and families, but we know how important this is and we are both determined and driven women who want to be an inspiration to others and will see this through to the end.

Video Blog- Week 12

booo! :(

Autumn here.

Well... like i said last week in our video blog, i KNEW something was wrong with my dramatic weight loss number last week! This week i weighed in and i'm back up to 193.8. Boo! Doing this play really took a toll on my health, my schedule, my stress level, my diet, and my exercise. But, the play ended yesterday, and I'm DETERMINED to get back on track now! I started my day off right with my nutrisystem breakfast, vitamins, and water... now, I'll just have to take things step by step to get back on the right track.

Gym

Hi.  This is Ally.

I just wanted to tell everyone that I ran my first 15 minute mile today at the gym (second time I went this week!) and I'm really excited. Of course, I could barely move afterward, but it's still exciting.  It seems that all of my hard work is finally starting to pay and not because I'm losing a lot of weight, but because I'm really starting to feel healthier.
